Dropleaf: Features a fixed section in the middle with consolable leaf style ends, hinged and supported by brackets.
Gateleg: Dropleaf style table with hinged legs which swing out like gates to support the table ends.
Console: Table fixed to or set against a wall supported by one or two decorative legs resembling consoles. (A console is a type of bracket jutting out from a wall.)
Altar: Used primarily for religious purposes.
An (Shinto): Used to bear offerings during shinto ceremonies.
Bar: A place to serve beverages.
Billiard: A popular game table.
Chabudai: A traditional short legged Japanese table.
korsi: A traditional Iranian table covered with a thick cloth, heated by placing a brazier with hot coals or an electric element underneath.
