Aqualis Composite Bright is a water-based general purpose composite wood conditioner treatment to be applied as often as required to maintain a fresh, clean look to all composite decks, stairs, hand rails, cladding, screening, furniture etc
A Conditioner and brightener for all raw wood/plastic Composite substrates. It has been designed to remove dirt and grime, tree sap, food stains, oil and minor oxidative degradation from composite surfaces. Used as a precursor to treatment with Aqualis Composite Sealer. Excellent around the house especially for cleaning oil and grease from BBQ’s and concrete.
FOR USE ON
– First Generation Composite decking (Uncapped Composite Decking)
REMOVES
– Food stains, Oil, Tree sap, Dirt and grime, Mildew and Mild oxidization.
COVERAGE
– The diluted solution spread rate is up to 10m2 per litre
APPLICATION
– Mop and bucket, stiff broom, soft broom.

CLEAN UP
– Fresh water
Application
Extreme:Â Severe dirt and grime soiling, heavy oxidation, accumulated BBQ stains and or tree Sap build up.
- Dilute 1 part Composite Bright to 4 parts water by volume.
- Pre-wet composite surface with fresh water
- Apply diluted Composite Bright mix by mop or spray and allow soaking in for at least 2-3 min. For stubborn stains allow 5 – 10 min
- Scrub surface with a stiff broom or mechanical agitator
- Thoroughly rinse off with water
Moderate:Â Removal of dirt, light oxidation, fresh BBQ stains and light build-up of tree sap.
- Pre-wet area to be cleaned with fresh water.
- Dilute 1 part Composite Bright to 8 parts water by volume.
- Apply diluted Composite Bright mix by mop or spray and allow soaking in for at least 2-3 min. For stubborn stains allow 5 – 10 min
- Scrub surface with a stiff broom or mechanical agitator
- Thoroughly rinse off with water
Light:Â General cleaning and up-keep.
- Dilute 1 part Composite Bright to 10 parts water by volume.
- Pre-wet composite surface with water
- Apply diluted Composite Bright mix by mop or spray and allow soaking in for at least 2-3 min. For stubborn stains allow 5 – 10 min
- Scrub surface with a stiff broom or mechanical agitator
- Thoroughly rinse off with water
Maintenance
It is recommended that composite wood be treated with Composite Bright at least every 3 to 6 months depending on location and density of surrounding trees and native wildlife. For areas exposed to heavy soiling, frequency of treatment will need to be at shorter intervals to maintain a natural looking substrate. For improved protection against stains and fungal growth refer to Aqualis Composite Sealer.
