Description
INNOfix Decking Screws for INNODECK
INNOfix Decking Screws are designed specifically for the installation of INNODECK composite decking onto timber subframes. As the recommended fixing for the INNODECK system, they provide a strong, secure top-fixed installation while working with the unique construction of the INNODECK board.
Self-Embedding Fixing System
INNOfix screws are designed to self-embed into the surface of INNODECK, creating a clean top-fixed finish without the need for a traditional exposed screw head. During installation, the screw is driven through INNODECK’s flexible elastomer surface layer. As the Torx head embeds into the board, the elastomer layer is designed to close back over and around the fixing point, helping to minimise the visibility of the screw head within the finished deck. This fixing method works specifically with the construction of INNODECK, combining the security of a direct top-fixed installation with a more refined finished appearance.
For best results, INNOfix screws should be installed in accordance with the current INNODECK installation guidelines and recommended fixing method.
Manufactured from 316 stainless steel marine grade, INNOfix screws offer excellent corrosion resistance, making them well suited to exterior decking applications and Australian outdoor conditions.
Designed for INNODECK
Unlike concealed clip systems, INNODECK is installed using a top-fixing method. INNOfix screws provide the recommended fixing solution, allowing each board to be securely fastened directly to the timber subframe.
The Torx head provides positive engagement with the driver bit, helping to improve control during installation and reduce slipping while driving the screw.
