It goes in between the balusters on a staircase.

Plantation grown Australian Oak (depending on availability it is either Victorian Ash or Tasmanian Oak) that has been laminated length ways for greater stability and quality.

Q 3. What are the important dimensions ?
Overall : 12mm Height x 42mm Width x Various Lengths
Rebate : 8mm Depth x 16mm Width

Q 4. How should you finish it ?
If looking for a natural finish, then a clear lacquer will be fine; or you can use a stain to achieve your desired colour then use a clear lacquer to finish it off.
If wanting to paint, we suggest using the cheaper priced Pine version of the same rail.
