As composite decking continues to evolve, INNOWOOD is at the forefront with PLUS-DEK Weathered. Inspired by the growing demand for authentic texture, PLUS-DEK Weathered composite decking introduces a natural, weathered, grain across every board. The weathered grain composite decking boards enhance natural character and depth, resulting in a composite decking board like no other. PLUS-DEK Weathered is a dual-sided composite decking board. The highlight of PLUS-DEK Weathered is the colour range. PLUS-DEK Weathered is available in six in demand colours, and each one features a varied grain. Explore the gorgeous colours and hues, from soft beige sands, to deep roasted browns. This board features Dune, and Aged Oak. Dune is a light, sandy beige, with a gorgeous deep, dark hue though the grain. Aged Oak is a natural, medium brown, with a dark hue throughout the grain. These mixed hues allow for a natural grain throughout the deck, replicating the natural look of timber.
PLUS-DEK Weathered achieves a certified P5 slip rating, making it an excellent choice for pool surrounds, spas, outdoor entertaining areas and other locations where improved slip resistance is important. As a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride Composite) board, it performs cooler than other boards on the market. The difference being, WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) boards contain plastic and wood fibres, therefore can retain heat. Whereas a PVC board, contains no wood, and isn’t as dense as a WPC – allowing it to cool quicker.
Available in two different options, a Grooved board and an Edge board. The Grooved board is generally used for the majority of the deck. Using the grooved sides, you side fix the deck to each joist. Whereas the Edge board is generally used for edges, borders, stairs etc. – and top fixing is required (as the edge board does not have grooved sides). PLUS-DEK Weathered is easy to install, being both tradie and DIY friendly. Complete with installation guides, fixing recommendations, and design concepts – allowing you to build a deck that is designed to last. Whether your deck includes a picture frame, breaker board, or herringbone – we’ll share the step by step guide to achieve it.
Tip: For face fixing use an Adjustable Countersink Drill Bit to pre-drill holes to the correct depth. Once achieved you can insert your screw and pro-plug.
PLUS-DEK Touch Up Paint is also available, designed for use on cut ends to help conceal exposed composite decking and maintain a consistent appearance across your deck.
Choosing the right subframe is just as important as selecting your decking boards. A premium subframe improves structural performance, reduces movement and helps maximise the life of your deck. PLUS-DEK Weathered can be installed over H4 treated timber framing or ClickDeck aluminium framing, depending on your project requirements. We recommend either a H4 Lowdeck Substrate or a Clickdeck Aluminium Substrate.Â
