Description
Q 1. Where would you normally use treated timber window canopy’s (or window awnings) ?
Above a window on the outside of a building. Not only will it provide protection from rain getting on your windows, but it is also a great feature on a period style home.
Q 2. What is it made out of ?
Plantation grown Radiata Pine that has been H3 treated.
Q 3. What are the important dimensions ?
Overall Height : 1120mm
Width of wall board : 90mm
Width of main body : 32mm
Protrusion from wall : 740mm
Q 4. How should you finish it ?
We recommend that you use an oil based primer to seal the timber, then at least 2 coats of an oil based top paint in your desired colour to finish. Leaving it unfinished, oiling it or using a clear lacquer is not recommended. We highly recommend that you speak to your local paint retailer for more info.
